An Interview with George Takei
NTC 2016 Person of the Year

Part One
One of the highlights of the 2016 Conference was our discussion with NTC Person of the Year George Takei, moderated by director, Sharon Ott in the historic dining room of The Players Club in New York City. We are very grateful to Mr. Takei for allowing us to share this wonderful, wide-ranging and thoroughly engrossing interview publicly. Touching on everything from the development of his hit musical, Allegiance; to his memories of the Japanese American Internment Camp he and his family were held in during World War II; his career as an actor; his long track record as a vocal and tireless activist for causes that are dear to him, and his most recent incarnation as a celebrated, social media celebrity.
