Dues are not only NTC’s main income source, they’re a way for each of us, as members, to make an active investment in our organization and its future. At our board meeting this summer, we thought dues--which implies obligation--may be the wrong word. Perhaps our annual payments are more like a pledge, a promise we make to our gathering and our community.
This year. Because paying your pledge promptly ensures that we can afford our conference, we’re setting a payment deadline this year: December 31, 2025.
In our ongoing quest to make payment easier: you can now pay by Zelle! In addition, we hope that shifting the conference to January lowers the cost of a New York City weekend in ways that make your pledge less of a burden.
How much? There are currently two categories of membership: active, for most members, which is $225; and supporting, for those who will no longer attend conferences but wish to retain member status, $100.
